Basil Seeds (Kasa kasa)
Basil seeds, also known as sweet basil or Falooda seed. Basil seeds are black and tear-drop shaped seeds that may be sometimes be confuse with chia seeds, are rich in proteins, carbs, and essential fats and are packed with a good deal of fiber. Interestingly, basil seeds contain no calories and are rich in antioxidants, help in controlling diabetes and is also good for your skin. Basil seeds are hard to chew raw, make sure to soak them in water which makes them nice and gelatinous before consuming.
